A 56-year-old Thai woman, with history of acute otitis media 3 weeks ago, developed acute fever and headache 2 days ago, and then she lost consciousness for 2 hours. Diagnosis: Acute bacterial meningitis Lumbar puncture was done. Her CSF and blood cultures grew the same orgainsm. The following pictures are the results of her CSF and blood culture.
